Agriculture Department Proposes Higher Import Fee on Cotton and Cotton-Containing Products

The Department of Agriculture’s Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS) has published a notice in the Federal Register that amends the Cotton Board Rules and Regulations to increase the value assigned to imported cotton for the purposes of calculating supplemental assessments for the Cotton Research & Promotion Program.
